How to Install WPC Doors

What are the installation tools for wood-plastic doors

Electric hammer, wooden hammer, flat file, side planer, fine-tooth saw (hacksaw), screwdriver, square, tape measure, hanging hammer, electric drill, hole saw, poke, drill bits of corresponding specifications.

Installation steps of wood-plastic door

  1. First draw a vertical line on the door opening.
  2. Fix the appropriate liner on the door opening as required.
  3. Fix the vertical sleeve on one side of the hinge, and measure the verticality of the upper and lower sides when fixing.
  4. Place the vertical and horizontal sets on the other side.
  5. Install the door on the vertical sleeve, pay attention to the upper gap when installing.
  6. Close the door, and fix the vertical sleeve on the other side according to the requirements.
  7. Fix the upper horizontal sleeve.
  8. Install right-angle lines inside and outside.
  9. Apply rubber strips, door locks, and lock plates.
  10. Test, check.

Precautions for installation of wood-plastic doors

  1. The door side and the door cover should be installed horizontally and vertically; there is no gap at the connection.
  2. The size of the door gap requires 2-3mm on the top, 6-8mm on the bottom, 2.5mm on the hinge side, and 3-4mm on the door lock side; the gap should be uniform.
  3. The vertical angle line is 1cm higher than the horizontal angle line.
  4. After locking the door, there is no gap or shaking between the door and the cover.
  5. The two vertical sets must be installed horizontally, and there must be no “eight” characters or uneven bottom ends.
  6. There must be no fan phenomenon.
